One person's opinion, posted on his own web site, pedalling fear and then wrapping it all up with some conveniently placed snake oil

New York Times best-selling author Doug Casey and his team just released an urgent new guide called Surviving and Thriving During an Economic Collapse that will show you exactly how.
Nothing more than click bait for the gullible.

That was not my intent, simply to add some levity to the doomsday scenario. The X meals from anarchy idea is not new nor mine. The website was a right wing fruit loop chap that thinks inflation is the work of Satan. Probably a fan of Mrs Thatcher and the Chicago School of Economics dingbats. Maybe a personal friend of the current PM. They all come out of that ideological mould. The sort of people that think the government is the problem and life works better if we have a virtually non existent government whose only job is to steal money for the rich. As Stuart says "for the gullible". So, what, 17m odd IIRC? Not like we need a government now is it?

    Thought for the day:

"Spare a smile and a moment to share a kind word with supermarket staff"

They are under pressure, working hard, for low pay, being abused by selfish panic buyers and unable to supply goods to vulnerable customers in need. They are vital, and cant work from home - and we need to pause and say 'thank you'.

    Be Nice

Yes, sorry, one could misinterpret it that way. I will try to improve my clarity.

Those that think government's very existence and reach are the problem rather than the specific inadequacies of the current money grubbing idiots that simply happen to be in power in so many countries, including ours.

Sunday morning, I was having a laugh with a couple of them over how the total absence of bog rolls in the store was going to do wonders for the sale of newspapers.
