TBH wasn't overly impressed with the wildlife, but it was before we learned to look for the small stuff. Some friends were very impressed with some caves they dived on the NE coast

    Plenty of nice wrecks
    Sorry can't remember the details.
    Been 15+ year .
Ferry over to the small island with the recompression chamber is worth a visit
The island not the chamber tho one of are guys spent a week in it said it was ok. ( State of the art at the time . Think the yanks payed for it)

Food was good but can be expensive if you can't get a way from the tourist hot spots. Nice place all in all .
Lots of flowers that give the place a nice smell .
Unlike Spain and some other places .
We dived with a English set up form a v nice boat and served lovely food for lunch .

    Enjoy Paul

Edit I also remember some big fish grouper or the like
    Not good on fish id.
Flat ones and round ones thats it

    Big round ones eneywho

This outfit comes highly recommended by me. Excellent dive centre with a good range of accommodation too:

If it moves - canoe it, if it doesn't dive it!

If you're going as far as Sardinia you may as well add an extra couple of hours and come to Gozo :-) I owe you a beer or 3 for lending me your torch charger.
