    Ours hang up in the loft on hangers made from PVC plumbing pipe which goes from wrist to wrist and keeps all the strain off the zip. They have a straight compression connector which allows the hangers to come to bits small enough to fit our dive bags for travelling. They hang well clear of the floor. I put a polythene cover over the arms so if any rodents did manage to climb down the hanger from above, they would slide off. Never seen any sign of rodents in the loft for years though.

    keep your suit wet with regular use its dried salt crystals that abrade and wreck suits

    And keep it well away from any copper - in particular do not hang off/over water pipes - the copper will react with compounds in the rubber and change its properties. This will damage latex seals and then you will have a wet suit. In practice I think that insulated electrical cables are fine but I would be safe rather than sorry and pipes are a definite no-no. And don't hang condoms off the heating pipes
