Smile The latest edition to what is on offer to dive in Cyprus, the Elpida

The latest edition to what is on offer to dive in Cyprus, the Elpida, was deliberately sunk just off of the coast of Oroklini, Larnaca in order to form part of an artificial reef.

We here at Pissouri Bay Divers were present to witness the sinking on 7th December 2019 and was one of the first Diving Centres to explore her on the 8th December 2019.

Good to see these wrecks but from all my years diving around the Island the only thing that will bring fish back imho is a good no go fishing policy in areas such as around Akamas. Fishing lobby there is too strong tho

Missed a trick by not putting lots of video cameras on her. See Aquanauts Grenada's ship sinking videos for example.
