My other half sorted it out, but given we were going for three weeks, staying in several places and, especially in Komodo, needed good syncing up from one place to the next, paying a little more for someone with the appropriate skills and knowledge to sort stuff seemed a good idea.

We overlapped in Komodo with the bloke who’d done the organising and he could take advantage of knowing where we were to have one of the Komodo Resort’s boats pick us up directly off the liveaboard.

We were not on a group trip, which they also run. So when we were at Komodo Resort there were a bunch of people there on another tour run by them, but that was coincidence.

I think organising flights to Komodo can be a hassle too, stuff with the airlines not wanting to take western credit cards.

We had an excellent time altogether.
