In fairness I don't think barnabys has posted a poll before and there are no written rules as far as I know. If there are they are lost in the forum mist. However ten entries for final poll is generally considered usual or less only if there are fewer entries. Winowing at discretion of the poll/comp setter. I think though this was solely originally down to vagaries of the forum .software.
Evolution is great at solving problems. It's the methods that concern me.

It's 'soon enough'. Let's do a new POLL?

I'll do it if nobody else volunteers (during office hours / I'm in front of a PC for most of the day) but just want to sure it's OK with everybody (esp barnaby_s)?

Leave it Bryan. Barnaby had his reasons so let it stand.

I always thought it was the poll setter's job to pick his/her top ten for the poll, but I can't remember if/when that was decided.

Thinking about it, it was a "rule" on YD and when brought across to TDF no one ever bothered with writing up the rules cos we all knew them
