Blue O Two, Red Sea changes.

Got this email through today, makes some interesting reading for anyone planning a Red Sea Liveaboard with Blue O Two.

Me too. I have a trip planned for next October. All's good with that. I hope UK will get back to flying direct to Sharm soon - a good dayboat package with, say, Emperor (and others) was greAt value back in the day.

Looks like they don't want to have anything to do with flights with those booking charges. Problem with booking your own flights is getting to and from the airport to the boat.

Could be buddy. One of the best ships I ever served on for two years was HMS Whirlwind. Now sitting off Wales u/w after being used for target practice. Many years ago wished to dive her to survey my old hammock space - never did

We were meant to be on Fin next year, but have been moved to Adventurer - haven't used that one before, last three trips have been on Melody, which I thought was excellent. TBH, wasn't necessarily bothered about the hot tub on Fin - I'm sure that's not the reason BO2 have binned it though.

BO2 maybe shooting themselves in the foot by taking this line.

Article in the Sunday Times today states that Jet2 is substantially increasing its flight capacity from Birmingham and Manchester next summer. Combined with the 2m extra from Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and other airports announced by Tui last week this more than fills the 2.4m seat gap left after the collapse of Thomas Cook last month.

It's basically going to make booking a late deal impractical isn't it

Yup! I do not book late deals as much as I used to but still have the urge once in a while. They are likely to lose my business
