That seems to apply to all underwater photography unless you just want a plastic bag to put your camera in.

not sure which is the other thread referred to, but the ones I posted a pic and links to above are "futura" I think - "Evolva Future Technology 328 feet/100-meters Wide Angle Underwater D02 Video/Photo Light" seems to be anglicised. But that might not be right.

only place I can see them at the moment is ebay

What's the toughest, most well-ard GoPro housing? One that might last being battered around with the dive kit and would be able to cope with deeper dives, say down to 100m.

I know it's not a GoPro, but I've had two MuVi cameras flood at 50ish metres in a housing that's allegedly good for 100m.

With the 8 screen folded away.

It also has a 6hr battery built into the housing so no issues with battery life.

    I bought these

I've rinsed and greased the switch spring after each dive (it came with spares) but was happy with them for my amateur red sea night time efforts with a go pro

these seem to be the same thing

This looks great, I'll try and pick one up on pay day. Will one do it, or do I need to be thinking about getting 2? Also how does that attach to a tray? - using something like this? -https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gurmoir-Clamp-Diving-Underwater-System/dp/B07D2HLCHJ/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=gopro+tray&qid=1571749758&s=el ectronics&sr=1-2

Are float arms a must have? I guess they're to make the rig neutrally buoyant right?
