I suspect I will, yeah.Might do the CPC next year so I can do a little bit of commercial driving too as pocket money thing.Do I need to tell my insurer that I've got the extra classification now? I can probably wait until I start my new job and tell them about both things at the same time right?

Don't see why you need to tell the insurance. My bike insurers don't ask about a car licence. They only collect that sort of data to try to flog you stuff. (And now household, life, travel, pet and every other bullshit insurance)

I see no reason to inform your insurers about the additional category - unless you were driving a vehicle covered by that category under your policy (which is not the case).

Got my license back but it says its only valid until 2028 O.o

Is that when I have to do a medical again? Or do I have to take another test?

What was the previous renewal date on the license, or was that specific to the classification?
