Any ideas what happened to http://www.camerasunderwater.co.uk?

doesn't look like the website is working for a few days now.
pity if they decided to shut down. I bought from them a few times and never had any complaints ...
if you could suggest any other similar business I would appreciate.

    thanks

They are in the hands of the administrators, no longer trading

What sort of equipment are you after?
Please visit bottlefish for my personal web site, Quay Cameras to chat to me about the cameras and kit that I sell

Anchor Dive Lights have quite a following on some of the boats I have been on over this summer for camera lighting and for handhelds / umbilicals
Remember anything you read on the internet was probably written by some guy sitting at home in his underpants! Including this !!

I was looking for a lens a few days ago and had the same experience with CU. Pity really; they were always a decent enough shop in my experience. Tough market I guess.

From what I understand, Jen, the founder, sold up a couple of years ago; from my own experience, the new owners seemingly didn't have quite the same attention to service and detail...

I stopped using earlier this year after having to threaten them with legal action to get my gear back.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but these guys have/had two strobes belonging to me and I've been trying for months to get in contact with them. Anyone any suggestions?

I ended up talking to the boss who is called Joss.
I did have her personal mobile number but can't find it any more (probably not saved and it's too long ago to be a recent call)
I heard that she wasn't so well which was something to do with the business failing.

You could try contacting the strobe manufacturer direct.
I know that my kit was sent directly to Ikelite as there were no technical people at Cameras Underwater. You may have to pay to get it back though.

    Good luck.
