    Isle of Man

First time out here. Managed a little bimble on a wooden fishing boat down at 40m today. Bit of a current running......so we had a very long swim from the shot to the wreck. Decent viz and plenty of wildlife to see. 25 mins of deco was Ok as plenty of jelly fish to watch!
Tides...they are a bit random out here. We have a choice of two wrecks tomorrow-wind dependent, one is a dive at 2.45 and the other at 4.10 yet the sites are only a few miles apart. Mental.

More video to follow when I am back in range of decent wifi, such as the dive centre or home.

The diving here is pretty stunning. Michelle and Steve make excellent hosts and dive crew.

Ferries. Heysham to IoM is slower, but you can take full cylinders. Liverpool to IoM empty cylinders only, and the staff do check vehicles.
Parking is free and relaxed, but do obtain a parking wheel from the Post Office-so 1970's
Port St Mary. Eat out at the Italian restaurant, fabulous place. Eating out options are limited.
The jellyfish stings round here are nasty....
Currents are pretty strong. Get ready to dive in plenty of time, bring a stage or rebreather of choice for the deeper wrecks.

If you are looking to arrange dive trips to the IoM. Then please contact Michelle and Steve here.

Self cater accommodation is available at the dive centre. Very decent and a good price too.

i would recommend Michelle and Steve as well top people with a great set up, if you get the weather the IOM is a great place for wreck and scenic diving.

Do those white RK3 fins belong to someone from my club (Dacorum SAC in Hemel Hempstead)?
The cylinders, flag, butt plate and hood match too.

And I think I recognise the yellow box in the other video.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
