UK source for Christo-Lube MCG 111?

Does anyone know of a UK source for this?

I can find generic/alternative ‘O2 grease’ but not this, other than in non-resealable tubes or large tubs.

I have found small resealable tubes readily available in the US, but there is a large postage cost and presumably import taxes, VAT etc on arrival.

Where do others get this from?

    Cheers,

    James.

Should be on ebay I guess like everyone else but you know how it is if you hav'nt done a service course or your not a member of IDEST or SITA or
you dont have have a trade account with Apex Marine or Aqualung or Scubapro et al or you dont own a local dive shop your not allowed the good stuff.

But as I understand you own your own ANSTI regulator test rig, and your own personal decompression chamber for the yacht so should think it would be much of a problem you getting a tube. LOL

Iain should really have a bit of slatwall to hang these tubes from
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

On a more serious note IMHO the 57 gram or 2 oz tubes for personal service use are a little too large and last for years the amount of grease you need to perform a
regulator service. So run out of date before you finish them. When this kicked off we used to suppy it in 16 oz tubes, then went down to 8oz then down to the 2oz size, now at the 5 gram mark. If this trend contines soon it will be half the size again at half the price for absolutly nothing.

Bit like sending your regulator into your LDS for a service
Ask yourself do they ever ask what lubricant was last used?... No?
Do they even have the specific chemical required to remove the old lubricant?...No?
Does your LDS ever tell you if the lubricant they are using is still in date?..... No?
Does your LDS ever disclose the specific lubricant used? ....No?

Makes you wonder why self service is gaining popularity.

Heck Yes Im on it now. LOL
But I thought it was the dive shop job to sell to the public not mine,
That would make it £30 a tube I guess
