What is best thing to protect your cylinder from steel cambands
Halycon OPH don’t want it to damage the paint work

If it’s a Halcyon single tank adaptor they usually come with some ‘octogrip’ pads

You can buy replacements from DIRDirect. A carpet tile would be a cheaper way to do it. Not seen anything else ready made

Five quid postage I can get 2 oms one including postage for a tenner might do that

Band of duck tape on the cylinder

Basically anything to keep the metal to metal contact

Gorilla tape is a bit thicker than ordinary gaffer tape and might offer a bit more protection.

Piece of old inner tube ,. Last time I asked at a tyre fitters they gave me loads.

I used some stuff we had for lining work shop benches. Then I decided it wasnt worth the grief
