I'm a bit busy today - Wednesday is our club night so I'll try and do it tomorrow.

Power adjustment on the 3500 is very smooth and easy - it's a sliding magnetic switch. One small issue that I have is that you can't lock it off but the instructions recommend removing the batteries for travel and it comes in a good case.

The travel light is a bit more fiddly to adjust power up and down. Power is reduced by keeping your finger on the on/off button and you have to switch it off to get it to go on to full power again.

On lower power, no problem. It's so bright I rarely use high power except as a video light for my wife's GoPro during the day or for the odd short period to look in a hole or under a ledge.
