    Think you might be confusing Bahrain with somewhere else ?

    Correct in as much as there are limited holiday attractions but there are no real restrictions for ladies.

    Diving conditions are pretty poor hence the attempt to develop an artificial reef - the authorities are also planning a range of other underwater structures to create a kind of marine park.

    Diving to be controlled and permitted only through authorised dive centres to limit daily numbers and prevent a free-for-all ( and to ensure collection of park fees I suspect), daytrips expected to be between £60-100 inc tanks / weights / drinks & snacks
