Anyone got experience of Talbot engines? I have seen a Talbot Express Camelot 2.0ltr.

If God had meant us to breathe underwater, he would have given us larger bank balances.

A quick google and it appears to be a rebadged Fiat Ducato.

Likely the pre HDI diesel that was in the 405, (DU series?), if it is they were very good in the turbo form. Gutless in non.
Could even be a throw back to the 504, which will be noisy and very noisy.

The Talbot badge puts me off, spent too much time under Chrysler/Talbot Alpines in my youth.

    edit:-

Read the motorhome link: pushrod petrol is the same lump as the Alpine, ughh. that's over forty year old design. Spares might be fun.

Diesel will not be the DU, 504 might be advanced for it.

It is possible, i’ve Seen 10 year old vans with less than 10k, my van is 20 years old and has 95k, when I bought it 4 years ago it had 70k.

As far from the sea as we could be, except when we can actually get in it.

    +1 for that

If it was originally built as a camper/motor home, then that mileage may be correct.
If, however, it was a conversion like ours, then I would expect the mileage, prior to conversion, to be over the 100K mark.
