    Miflex Hose & Aqualung Legends

    Evening all.

    Couple of things...

Firstly, there are a few of us in my club who have Miflex low pressure inflator hoses with knackered schrader valves leading to a constant and irritating dribble of air all the time. Anyone else suffering from this? Bit of a let down really for the price of the bloody things!

I've tried buying a few different ones off of fleabay and the like, but they never seem to fit right. Can anyone point me in the right direction or even better, sell me a few that fit?

Secondly, I'm looking for some blanking plugs for the first stage of an Aqualung Legend Reg set. I'm going to use them as pony regs but havnt got enough plugs to blank all the holes off once I've taken all the usual paraphernalia off them.

Happy to pay reasonable price or chuck some dosh in the RNLI if preferred.

    Ta!

How long have they had these before they started to leak air?

Reason for asking is we have had these hoses for about 4 years before changing the valves which is no problem, the replacement valves we got given free from our local tyre depot.

I've got some Aqualung Legend Glacias, so might be able to excavate you something from those.

One is less than 18 months old, though I guess most of the others would be about 3 or 4 years as you suggest.

I'll have to try swinging into my local tyre shop and see what I can squeeze out of them.

    Cheers

Is the leak when connected to a bcd or when not connected?
If connected to the BCD it's not the schraeder it's the oring inside the fitting.
