I watched the initial Bibby Offshore documentary on DVD and then managed to get an invite to a special screening to see the movie as much of the chamber and bell scenes were filmed at my work

The movie is very good and extremely thought provoking for any diver. It would also be of interest to non-divers as it is a pretty gripping storyline and very well made. The fact that the actual parties involved star in it and that much of the footage is from the real event will make your hair stand on end but have your tissues at the ready also.

    Enjoy

Oops - just searched for it and it is actually BBC Scotland.

My mistake was doing a search & programming it in the Sky app where it doesn't tell you the channel (it does have a microscopic icon in the corner which turns out to be BBC Scotland).

    On the iplayer then?

[EDIT] Just checked as it is a quiet night here - it is on the iplayer but only available after broadcast which is late evening on Tuesday UK time...

Did anyone else watch it? I was genuinely shocked at the recovery. I loved the last line on his return to work!

I never gave anything away that is not already 100% common knowledge.

It'll be on iPlayer until 5th June (if my maths is correct)

I thought it was brilliantly done, using all the actual people involved as well as actual footage from throughout the incident - I'll certainly watch it again before is departs iplayer
