Diving 7 years, now own new Firth of Clyde Dive Rhib Charter

Hi everyone, glad I could be a part of this forum. I have never been on one before so bare with me.

So I started diving around 7yrs ago in the Sound of Mull, Scotland. I had actually been assisting with the S.O.M dive boats where I got my first sniff of what it is like to run a diving charter.

On one of these trips I met my now fiancee, who taught me how to dive and got me to my current level of Dive Leader. We absolutely love diving, and joined a club in Hertfordshire where we ran shore diving expedition trips all over the uk and ran regular club trips to Croatia, Portugal, Maldives and Norway.

We decided to try and start up our own charter business in Scotland, which I am pleased to say is entering its second year (1st full season) in the Firth of Clyde.

We are trying our hardest to get the Clyde back on the diving map as there are some incredible shipwrecks here, and we have been exploring the nearby waters too and the variety of diving is incredible. My friends told me of old posts on here about Clyde diving and no charters up here and we just wanted to let all you divers know that we are here to stay and hopefully grow as time goes on.

We are Wreckspeditons Dive Charters and you can find us on all form of social media etc, so if anyone fancies revisiting the area or trying out something new please feel free to get in touch.

I will apologise if that all sounded like a bit marketty, but I just wanted to say hi and to let people know what we do now.

Safe diving everyone and look forward to maybe hearing from some of you.

    Cheers

    Jason

I've met them both - a bit too happy for my liking, but seem like a good operation.

Happy? Now that won’t do in a skipper... ;-)

Never dived in that direction. Maybe I should!

I have to say that the Clyde is one of my favourite dive sites - it is good that there is a new dive charter operation opening up. The biggest issue I have getting our club up there is that they see Oban as just up the road - when it is actually a good 1.5 hours further on.

    Good luck with the business.

    Hi Jason and fiancée
I will get up there eventually. Just been a bit busy. I saw that Liz and Tim have been diving with you.

Vlad the Impaler would have be too happy for you!

I think he was actually very happy - it was everyone else that wasn't.

My mate's been out with them and there were half a dozen CCRs on board and I'm pretty sure North Sea Divers have run a trip with them including jimbo who dives twin 15s.

    So yeah, be reet.
