Another vote for XCCR, love mine, 150+hrs on it so far and never missed a beat. Even forgot my cylinder brackets when I took it to Truk (like a f***ing nugget), 4 big clips and some gaffer tape, over 2 weeks diving worked a treat! So easy to strip down and clean\maintain, always first in the pub after a days diving! ;-)

    Redbare and JJ

Not that I have the money, but for me I would consider the JJ or the X-CCR.

My buddy last week in Scapa had an X & it performed faultlessly. Although on previous dives his CO2 monitor had been playing up.

They all should perform faultlessly - the fact that some brands don’t is shameful

If the JJ and the X-CCR are both running SW technology, how are they different?
Remember anything you read on the internet was probably written by some guy sitting at home in his underpants! Including this !!

CO2 sensor, hp sensors in the head, gas routing for plug in's.

From a machining pof. The head of the X is a work of art.

The sensor cartridge dismounts easily for drying.

I haven't seen the figures but I have heard that with OTS lungs the wob is very very good. Will be interesting to see the CE when it passes.

If Mark thinks it's good. It's fooking good. 🙂

You'd be hard pushed to find someone more objective, cautious and experienced.

I'm tending to agree with this - also waiting to see the CE rating and figures...

What about the head do you think is not right out of interest?

Nothing particular. Just my cynicism at the general trend towards the kid in a sweet shop approach "I've got a 5 axis and hypermill and am going to make ALL THE SHAPES". Yes it's cool, but is it needed? I've more time for the designer who accomplishes something in a simple manner myself.
