The con continues. We had a customer yesterday telling us how "all the red tape will soon be gone". Spoke to the missus thankfully or I would have spend half an hour bending his ear to realise why the red tape will escalate beyond imagination.

    Twats.

    All of them.

Why is it that with everything in life I always find a more difficult way of doing it (and not intentionally)

If it wasn't for customers, business would be so much less stressful.

Heard someone on the radio at lunch time arguing that we voted for our soventry. Complete plank.

This thread started with a view to whether or not a second referendum is a good idea. Now after three years of bollocks, bullshit and bluster (by the government not the erstwhile members of TDF) there is a slim majority of agreement for the modified withdrawal bill. Now therefore is the time for that referendum. This is the agreement to vote on. It is time for the dickheads in Westminster to grow up (fat chance) and show some respect for the electorate (LOL). Yeah, yeah, I know, never happen but wouldn't it be nice?

Set a referendum - this agreement or remain. Set a date not too far in the future and get an agreed extension from the 27 to do so. Agree to respect the result.

Tories/Nazis/ERG - just accept that this is the last and only chance to get what you want. Grandpa/Labour please STFU about another renegotiation and your moronic "jobs first Brexit" and agree to a referendum on the ERG withdrawal bill as it is, fight it tooth and nail and if you lose then lose with good grace and vote the stupid thing through - like me you will have to make do with "I told you so".

Good people of the UK. Go put your cross where you want and accept whatever happens. If you vote to leave then burn in hell but please for once in your pointless lives grow up and accept your victory or defeat with stoic silence.

Now about that octopus hose length........

The big surprise for me over the recently weeks/months is how utterly hopeless Corbyn's "leadership" and vision has proved to be. His media handlers have utterly failed to get him much airtime and even when they have, he is already 3 steps behind even Johnson - a man who often puts his foot in it, so should be easy to trip up! You'd think this was an open goal but it seems he still can't score! It's telling that we're seeing as much (if not more) of the leaders of the Lib Dems and SNP. There was one occasion last week (IIRC) when the first person to publicly respond to Johnson's bullshit of the day was the SNP, rather than the Leader of Her Majesty's Opposition! Outflanked, out-thought, and all when he was already up against it, with the media determined he's Lenin reborn. It's no wonder he doesn't want an election.

Basically agree, but only because I think it's the best, or perhaps only, way to cancel the whole thing.

    Except.

1/ Why would the Conservatives do that? They might lose.
2/ Why would Labour do it? The conservatives might win.
3/ Referendums, especially simple majority ones, are a generally poor way of deciding anything really important.
