    Is that a Nightjar? Nice pic. The only one I've seen was on a dive boat in the Sudanese Red Sea!

    To be honest I have no idea, I was sort of hoping someone could tell me what it was.

    It was in Co,Kerry, Ireland. Somewhere between early to mid summer (as far as I remember) size wise it was about as big as a fully grown robin.
