Neal Pollock - Thoughtful management of decompression stress

Not sure if this was already posted, but it's an excellent talk by Neal at the BSAC Conference (this is not a BSAC bashing thread, thanks):

Great presentation. Thank you for posting it.

Are the other presentations available online?

Can any BSAC member attend that conference?

It's nice to see the good side of BSAC outside of the politics.

Yep open to all members, in fact I was at that event..

There were other good talks, not al the speakers as accomplished Neal, but intersting all the same

              Jill Heinerth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGyPbKONy9E
Maritime archaeologist at Historical England - Alison James https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zWF9Iu-Ex8
Rachel Alcock from the MCS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F-EK7NlI4o

And the incident report https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRs4MOaLyC4 (intersting info on IPO)

You get entry to the dive show included (opening it up to all members and co-locating with the dive show was one of the good ideas to make it more popular).

              Iain.

That is really interesting, especially the bit about being able to get left heart bubbles even without a pfo but by physical stress. I think this may have been very relevant in the case of my wife's vestibular bend where she did say she was feeling very worn out during the dive (not helped by not eating enough) and then strained to climb up the ladder in heavy gear and drysuit.
