    Which port should you set? The right one and if there are more then one to choose from there is no need to test them all. Just look into the "Services" Tab (Your last screenshot) and see which COM port has been assigned. If you can't select it in the compaion just enter it into the port field manually ("COM 22", for example).

    Windows 7 is just fine. No need at all to upgrade to Windows 10...

    None is given, there is three lines each starting with a tickbox followed by the text "Unknown Service"

    I would try unpairing the device and starting over. I would suspect that until you have proper entries for the COM port that it will never work.

    I think I posted the steps for looking at COM & LPT in Control Panel earlier, post the grab and we can take a look.
