    Apeks adjusting Screw anyone ??

Ok what i twit i was this morning, thought i would dismantle my XTX40s following in the distructions in the service manual, all good, cleaned it reassembled (yes i used the same orings but i just wanted to check i could put it together!) adjusted and all good. Bingo. Game on for servicing my own second stages.

Then like a tit i took it apart again to remove the o-rings in preparation for using new ones from a service kit. And..... I rushed and broke the adjusting screw (Apeks part AP2029-1).

Anyone know where i can get one as i now have a box of XTX40 bits !

    Cheers

Are you sure it's an XTX? I thought they had a twiddly knob, and the ATX had the plastic adjuster.

You can get them from a place in the Netherlands http://www.scubasupport.nl/webshop/P...--AP20291.html

Or you can fit a twiddly knob if yo ucan find one on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apeks-Adju...-/272335875087

There's even a link to BTS's video of how to fit them.

If you message the guy (2815chris) on ebay he will sell you one. Bought one off him a couple of weeks ago, I did the exact same thing dismantling my ATX40

Ah, it must be the 50 that has it as standard. I thought it was all xtx.

You can easily fit the eBay adjuster on a tx atx xtx 40 to make it a 50
