    It's interesting I guess all specialisms have there own acronyms and abreviations. In medicine , a notoriously secretive profession, there are many, some of which have escaped and even become politically incorrect. FLK, Downs etc. One problem is that even within an area of speciality the abbreviation can have more than one meaning, MI, myocardial infarction or mitral incompetence this is of course compounded when different disciplines are involved in a project. Language is not a precise tool!

    But not often written down I imagine, just the thought of stopping your juggernaut to make a quick note of someone's traffic misdemeanour. The all the countries roads would be solid.
