Sunshine and showers means rainbows galore, but who wants to dig for the pot of gold?

There are four varieties in society: the lovers, the ambitious, observers and fools. The fools are the happiest.

    Paul.
If God had meant us to breathe underwater, he would have given us larger bank balances.
Human beings were invented by water as a means of moving itself from one place to another.

I've never heard it called anything except the rather unimaginative Lac d'Annecy.

The ski resort transfer coaches used to stop there to kill time on transfer day, to avoid the traffic on the road from Moutiers to Bourg St Maurice and into the ski resorts (prone to 40Km tailbacks in the day!).

Always loved the old town, even though I nearly got run over crossing the same road in the same place two years on the bounce.
