    I had latex seals on two of my drysuits and they melted in the summer heat whilst stored. I'd only use neo seals out here.

    I'm going to rephrase my first post where I said "I have used most seals",
    truth is I have not used silicone very much so my experience is limited and
    you may well be right with the a bit less grief bit.
