Pentewan is really good to be fair. we go there every year and have done for 4 years now . decent bar, decent grub but the entertainment can be a bit "Northern workingmens club " .

i used to attend these places in my early twenties before going into the main town ( cheap beer) , everything stops for bingo . don't dare fart in case it stops the game .
