TDF London drinkies - Thursday 12th November

By popular demand (except my liver, which is just afraid), TDF drinkies shall be held at the Stage Door from 6pm until we (or just smileydiver) falls over on Thursday 12th November. Who's in?

I think it will probably be chuffing freezing so prob best we reserve an area indors? Or do they have those heated lamp thingies??

Hoping a few of you can make it

The Stage Door: Your independent pub & kitchen in London, SE1. The Stage Door is your lively, friendly backstreet pub & kitchen, a stone's throw away from Waterloo station. Neatly tucked away behind the Old Vic theatre.

    Thank you genie!

I'm in London, if Hammersmith counts, for those days (although I have to be vaguely functional on the Friday)

    so in traditional TDF style:

      In London yet again!

It is all very well arranging a social in London but most TDF members live far from London and are being excluded. This is rather poor and so like the cliques that form in clubs and exclude other members!

Big smoke is cool for me, as I can just fly in (and conferences are almost exclusively in London), but I can imagine that it would be crappy for most people that sensibly choose to be outside it.

            I thought you'd say that.

The (one) disadvantage of being away from London is the public transport is not quite as effective and the density of TDF members is reduced.

I'd have thought Weymouth and Portland had more TDF folks than almost anywhere.

Surely if there is a reduced density, i.e. less dense, then you are more intelligent.

There again, perhaps you is fick for not realising
