    David,

I think sadly you're making the mistake of claiming to be first, when actually you're at least 5th in your proposition.

The website is a little light of details, which is a shame since I for one am always genuinely interested to understand a new ccr.

How about some teardowns/highlight some key features.

What's the USP here? The chaps in CDG have been side mounting their RBs for donkey's years. Couldn't one take pretty much any RB can* and lash a couple of clips to it?

*except mk15, rEvo, and that old Russkie IDA thing.
I don't want to get technical or anything, but alcohol IS a solution

Is this the same forum that was recently bemoaning a lack of wide input and participation?

I think the video on the website makes it look a bit Heath Robinson, it looks a lot better on Garry's video : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2TlRSmv230U

Same position the JJ was in a few years ago - another back mounted CCR - what's the difference this time?

Such as that from the OP's 2 posts in all the time he has been a member?

    1. "Look at the CCR we made"
    2. "Hey, we've made a CCR so you should all be talking about it"

    Would it not have been better to say something like;

"Hi, as there are a lot of CCR divers on here, perhaps you would be interested in looking at our new modular CCR.
More details can be found on our website at xxxxxx .com"

At which point a mod will let them know that is their advertising post used up, and maybe they would like to pay for proper advertising.

Even better, they could have provided a good teardown, showing everybody what is unique about it, and what they have done to make it better than everything else.

It's new kit, it's shiny, a decent teardown with a pile of photos and info may well provoke a proper discussion, rather than a bit of generic griping

FWIW I have looked at the website, and quite like what I see (in terms of the CCR), the price isn't bad either. Lack of CE may well put some people off, and the website makes no mention of that being in the pipeline. TBH the website is pretty poor, lots of it is 'under construction', there is no 'about us' page etc.

Contrast with Michael Hearn's Aurora Blue thread on CCRX. An interesting running commentary on the development of a rebreather that is genuinely interesting vs. here's what we're trying to sell you but with no information or content.

Five and a half grand for a bucket and a computer? Not for me, I'll stick with my antique rather than all this cutting edge mallarkey.
