Can one take multiple extra bags at €20 each. I'd like to take my scooter as well as my rebreather.

    Thanks for dropping in.
When we book Business Class (32kG as standard, plus peace and quiet at the airport) we get Priority tags clipped to our hold luggage by the very nice check in staff.

    Why is this?

What does it signify and to whom?

It tells the baggage handlers which bags belong to rich customers, so are more likely to contain designer clothing, jewellery, and other posh stuff. Like having a big bag with "Scubapro" or similar on the side. Then the dodgy ones know which bags to have a look in.

On a recent flight we had these tags on our bags and they came out first on the carousel. This might have been chance, or they might load them differently perhaps so they come out first.

    Digs.

On long haul at least, it means your bags get special handling (in a good way) - last into the hold so they are first off. I always find the baggage hall a stressful experience and it's great to see your bags appear first on the conveyor.

On boarding in London we were told very firmly to put batteries in our hold luggage. When we joined the queue for our connection in Guam a very polite lady approached with a couple of Greenforce F2 battery packs in her hand. She said we must put batteries in our hand luggage. She also commented that if we had been travelling tourist and not business then the batteries would have been held and we would not have seen them again.
