Apeks 2nd stage spindle pin - replacement?

I have an xtx 50 second stage that I took apart to give a quick service and of all parts I managed to drop the small pin from the spindle down the bloody sink so I now need a replacement, where would you suggest I look?

Thinking about giving Apeks a ring on Monday.

    Cheers

Did you check the u-bend trap to see if it got stuck there?

Had occurred to me but I have little appetite of crawling under the sink at the moment. Lazy I know.

No the pin doesn't get changed but I was cleaning it as the spindle was all gunged up including the pin. Was an ebay second hand purchase.

or you could just retrieve it from the sink trap. did you vote in the maintenance and servicing poll? I forgot to put a "mechanically challenged" category in there...

you've been distracted by inconsequential regional politicking this past few weeks, though: best leave this sort of job (and the reg servicing) to a competent person

I don't want to get technical or anything, but alcohol IS a solution

In the end I did actually get off my back side and recover it from the U bend. U bend was surprisingly free from gunk. None the less the pin will now be thoroughly cleaned before going back into the reg.
