    Question Fins

Anyone on here use Mares X-Stream fins?

Thinking about getting some but would appreciate real life feedback.

I'm thinking either Mares Avanti Quattro or the Mares X-Stream.

I'm using Mares Waves at the minute but find them a little too stiff and bring on cramp easily.

    Look at Volos

If you want flexible Mares, these are the dog's danglies.

I have some Avanti Quatro's for sale, yellow XL with brand new Mares bungee straps. Let me know if you're interested.

I Normally dive with Quatros in the UK and used volo's for holiday diving.

After a freind lost one volo snorkeling a couple of years ago I got the X-strem's for holiday stuff.

If the Wave's give you cramp I'd be surprised if the quatro's didn't.

The X -strem's are light (Great for travelling) and i'd say they are very similar in properties to the volo's.

If you cramp easily then you may want to look at split fins

I have x stream fins for my holiday diving too. Very light, well made and provide enough propulsion.

I've been diving the Volos for several years now & love them. While hubby swears by his Quattros, he's 6' 4" & I'm 5' 4" ; I found them too heavy & hard to fin. The Volos let me do everything I want (helicopter turns, backfinning, swimming in current) with ease.

The Extremes look interesting, but I'm not so interested in the price.
