The point here is the towing and associated fees, he was given a parking ticket, surely you can only have one punishment for one offence not multiple earners for the council...

I might send him a pizza..
But you'd make it a boring one like plain margherita ...

Why would we spend any money protecting a violent street gang member from the consequences of his own murderous actions ?

Because our society has decided that justice should be delivered through due legal process, not through revenge, vendettas or vigilante action.

Why do disabled people need on street bays anyway, their badges allow them to park where ever they want... and they have no problem parking in places that cause massive inconvenience to others and restricting traffic flow..
So you can park for 6 months in a disabled bay for 70 then? Sounds perfect, except the guy has obviously been given a ticket, and after going off christmas shopping comes back to find them towing his car away, quite sensibly.

Disabled people can't park wherever they want in Birmingham city centre. It has double yellow everywhere, precisely because the council don't want roads blocked restricting traffic flow...

I have no idea where the idea of giving him a kicking came from. I would just drag him out by his head. Any other country in the world the police would have smashed a window and pulled him out of the car, for being an inconsiderate bellend, and they'd be quite right.

    Digs.

We have a disabled spot outside the Pharmacy I locum in. The general parking outside is often very busy so the space is important for some of our less mobile to avoid walking a long way.

I often ask people to move if they don't have a badge. Most people move on with varying degrees of contrition or abuse.

So blue badge holders can't park on double yellows? Are you sure?

If there are loading areas outside the shop then having a bay is fair but if it is just double yellows they can park anyway...
