    As we (well me at least) are talking about chickens, have you ever noticed that they walk about as though they are in a minefield? Step, stop, look about at the ground, step again, stop, look some more...

    Chickens appear to be permanently bewildered. If they didn't taste so good I suspect they would have become extinct without people to look after them.

    I think cows are surprisingly bright compared to sheep - they survive quite well if they escape from an abattoir and have the sense to hide their calves from the farmer when it's possible.
    Definitely don't doubt Dawn - not if you value your life
