    Local air ambulance landed on the football pitch behind our site yesterday, if they take people to wrexham hospital, they have to land on a sports pitch (different pitch) off site, and transfer to an ambulance for the last half mileish, to admit them; Most air ambulance transfers seem to end up in Stoke or Shrewsbury.

    Proper helicopter landing pad, is quite an involved beast.
    I remember a talk at Clatterbridge where the guy in charge was having a rant about their quarter million pound helipad, v the "car park" at Dotty.

    I did wonder if the "helipad" was in fact temporary roadway for the ambulances to collect the patients from the air ambulances.

    Some of the anti vax shite that I have heard recently(in person), from people with IQs allegedly above room temperature, has been shall we say, "a little challenging".
