    Is it not normal to carry a battery powered sat phone on these sort of trips to call for help if the electronics fail? Not a sailor so i do not know.

    I got through immigration at Las Vegas Airport in about 15 minutes just over a week ago. It was as quick as getting back in to this country.

    Wow the last few times we have been to US which was before they put in all the TSA checks and long before Trump, 60-90 minutes was not an unusual amount of time to wait !

    Admittedly Las Vegas does not have a huge amount of international arrivals.

    Now Chicago, that is a whole different ballgame (ballache).
