We were heading back, when Fury(?) screamed past at 20+knots throwing up a huge rooster tail; the skipper said "We`ve dived the same sites as them today, and used less fuel".
My thought at the time was, "they set out over an hour after us, and are getting back at least an hour before us"; like I said, it was really slow, strangely nobody fancied rebooking it.
Even Perigrine (??) on the Mull when they were using the onboard engine driven compressor, which halved the headway to 5~7knots was quicker than excalibur.
