One of our dogs - a retriever / poodle thing - who howls for her food and when you give it to her she eyes it up very suspiciously and needs to be reassured that it is not poisoned. It doesn't matter what the food is - unless it is off your plate - every meal it is the same, suspicion in spades.

Mouldy cheese rind is always a winner with PuppyT. The sweaty bit from the back of the fridge that';s been there for months, the stinkier the better. Pilchards are a favourite too but his is just in water. If it's smells foul or really tasty, he's in. Bit he also has a real thing for cooked rice (especially pilau if there's any going spare), pasta (cooked or not), carrots, broccoli (raw only), spuds (all cooked versions only)... that's some of the good stuff. Bird shit, grass blades, rabbit shit, rotting roadkill, horse shit... not so good.

I pass these houses virtually daily.
Friend of mine from junior school used to live in one of them, not exactly massive back gardens. Typical council house of their era.

Seems around here the usual council estate pet, is a penile extension device, with a brain dead knob on the other end of the lead.
Always muscular bitey things, staffies, mastiffs, Rottweilers.

Curious what a dog that size would cost to feed every week, especially as they had 2 or three at the address, and facebook posts show a diet of red meat and fish.
