Enjoy ! Let us know how you get on.
No probs , it was a good day , albeit bloody hot ! Enjoy the diving.
Can’t say I’ve heard of them
Pretty sure AP BMCL come with the harness and standard set of mavs , you can upgrade the mavs if you want to. They do work rather well.
I use a KT reel , it’s excellent. With the composite back it’s still heavier than other reels , I also have a custom diver which is much lighter. For me the KT is easier to operate. Looking at your 2...
Sending you a pm
I am a bit of a fan of my AP unit , but wouldn’t accept unreliability. I have to be honest and say I’m surprised at that view of the unit. Talking to owners of various units they all seem to have the...
Watchya gonna do then?
are we taking AP or Poseidon here? If it’s AP mine rarely goes back and when it has the service has been excellent.
Don’t use a weezle but likewise I might swopout from the pbb extremes for winter / long stuff. They are still effective if you layer under them.
I’d also ask what drysuit are you wearing and do...
Ok I’ll admit it. I have the northern diver vest. On my last 2 dives it turned off underwater. I’d stayed pretty warm as it had heated me up whilst kitting up. The power/setting button is all but...
Neoprene drysuit ??
On an AP ? My thoughts are don’t bother. Understand they’ve improved but if your on your game shouldn’t need them.
I currently use contacts (distance) and stick in lenses (reading) and a bright computer. Not sure what that says about my eyes :OMG:
Dunno. The O’three advanced pee valve works very well for me.
Wouldn’t look to upgrade the base unit will be ancient.
You wouldn’t buy 2 lots of software only one or the other - basically you only need the trimix version.
£4k should get you a reasonable...
Quite gutted , was a good training venue.
I was looking at the dive tickets for availability, looks like Stoney is fully booking from March , increase to £20 for a member and the option to pay for the parking is there as well. Expensive day...
Cheers , I do use a hr strap with the 830 , but no VO2 max recorded. Not a bigee I’ll have a play.
Agree with string. Plus Stoney price goes up in March and back to pay if you want to guarantee parking at the bottom - total £30 just to get in.
Can’t wait for the weather to pick up and go use...
I have a Garmin 830 as well , how do you get it to produce a Vo2 ? Mines blank (maybe that’s my fitness level )
I think having a reasonable level of fitness Deffo helps. More in the scope of...
Sure you’ll be pleased , let us know what you think.
Bit of both to be honest , depth dependant. Deffo neutral without BO. I could prob be a kg or so lighter but that gets me down , I wouldn’t want any more.
Nope. Same as Dave / paulo.
Depending on the diving your looking to do the SW peregrine is also very nice if your ok with 3 nitrox mixes, less money - ok unless you plan trimix or Ccr.
