The mechanics of the change are very easy to understand and complete, just make sure you also remember to move the sliding sleeve on the venture section otherwise it wont work (obvious when you know)

AP fittings from MAV hoses etc will normally fit on standard suit inflates or BCD's but not the other way round ie standard hoses will not latch on to AP MAV's

Now done around a dozen dives and can confirm much more flexibility underwater but harder to don and doff due to tighter fit around hips
