Thanks for your support everyone. Sleeves rolled up to get stuck in. Lots to do to grow the membership, support divers and get people in the water doing what we all love.
You would be better off with a proper adjustable pneumatic regulator with a gauge. When you depressurise it does it slowly. What you have there is not a regulator it's a flow restrictor.

Read the pdf. It's quite specific about BSAC being unaware of the removal of cover.
Not really. All the info is in the pdf- Dive Master whacked the insurance up so BSAC had to go to market.
Cool glad you're up and running.
They're all standard sizes.

Well if he sends it to me I'll sort it for him unless it's completely toast.
Drop me a PM and I'll send you the address. Or if you want to have a go yourself you will need a couple of bs006 o rings. Let me have your address and I'll chuck some in the post for you.
Unscrew the button, pull the valve out, give it a soak in vinegar, rinse and reassemble with some silicone grease.

How about just chopping the bugger off and putting this on:...
Sorry I've used them all lighting cigars. And one simply doesn't carry cash. I leave that to Bantin my valet.
Is there likely to be a VPM update for the rest of the family? Not that there is much wrong with Bertie's GF Bodge.

If you're worried about a fiver difference in diving, you're in the wrong sport!
The cable isn't broken. It's the contacts that are rubbish. I get 12V at the batter, about 8 on the vest connector.
I've used Seacon before. Same thing.
I would need to replace both sides of it. £82. That's ridiculous.
Right I'll get my engineering head on see what I can come up with. Something needs to unplug or you will be walking about with a...
Is there another option? I have a vest and the voltage drops so much through the connector the vest doesn't warm.
If they are like our SU it won't matter how much you emphasise what you need, they won't understand.
When we changed kit room, we said we need X amount for a compressor, y amount for cylinders, z...
The reason is neither of the above.
Guaranteed if you grease it you will end up with a greasy mark on your trousers or dry suit just below the knee.
