I think most shark attacks are in shallow water. They move sideways better than up and down. Shallow water gives the prey less room to move.

Look at most medieval weapons. They are just adaptations of farming implements. Just about everything in my sheds and workshops would be capable of killing someone.
OK, it might take a little time...

And yet, I own a pistol crossbow, quite capable of killing someone, and I don't need any licence or certificate. Anyone can buy one on the net. Ludicrous.

My thought is that, if someone deliberately and willingly steps outside of the law, they should not expect the law to protect them.
