Hi All,
So in a brief moment of insanity I have been convinced by my housemate (or so he claims, I think I persuaded him) to join him on a 55 mile, none stop walk around Greater Manchester, with a 24 hour time limit. I will be taking part in this event (which is organised by Manchester Uni) to raise money for the DDRC (http://www.ddrc.org/).
The event is called the Bogle Stroll, and is allegedly the longest running sponsored event in the NW, it will begin at 7pm on 28th of Feb, so I will be walking throughout the night and finishing (hopefully) sometime late afternoon on Match 1st, most likely in a lot of pain and very tired. More info can be found here: http://www.manchesterrag.com/bogle/about/
And basically im posting here to ask for your help by sponsoring me (please, pretty pretty please), and in turn raising cash for the DDRC. Its easy enough to do, just follow this link: http://www.justgiving.com/Richard-JS and click 'Donate'. All sponsorship will be greatly received.
Cheers.
