OK, here's a list of what I consider to be essential and nice-to-have tools and spares for keeping your JJ on song. Feel free to recommend changes/additions and I'll expand it as necessary.

If this proves useful, I could augment it with some servicing details/photos.

Most of the o-rings are listed in a sheet that DaveT posted on CCRx (http://www.ccrexplorers.com/showthread.php?t=14098#post128986). I will try to get a more comprehensive list together with the BS numbers when I get a chance

Tools

Essential:

T20 Torx driver
for the 10 M4*20 setscrews securing the battery cover and the BOV barrel securing screw

#1 Pozidrive screwdriver for BOV collars and MAV

2.5mm Allen key
for loosening t-piece grub screws

5mm Allen key
for the T-piece inlet banjos, regulator blanking plugs and capscrew securing the inlet/outlet tubes in the head

6mm Allen key
for adjusting the regulator IP

14mm spanner for O2 t-piece inlet pipe and all Miflex hoses (3/8" end)

17mm spanner for Miflex hoses (9/16" end)

O-ring pick

Handy:

Needle-nosed pliers for removing ADV diaphragm cover and BOV barrel

10mm spanner for nyloc nuts securing stand

15 mm spanner for removing BOV barrel

1/4" socket/spanner for dismantling BOV barrel

40-42mm C-spanner for dismantling regulators

T30 Torx driver for the screws securing the webbing strap on head

Spares

Essential:

All o-rings
CR-P2 batteries
SAFT 14500 batteries
Mushroom valves
Scrims
Scrubber nut (M10 wing nut will suffice)
Zip ties for securing loop hoses
Silicon grease

Handy:

Cells
Patch cables, ideally at least one each with co-ax, Molex and jackplug fittings
Extra LP hoses or length of LP hose and set of re-usable hose fittings
Length of convoluted hose
Counterlung bladder (uncut)
BOV diaphragm (from Scubapro AirII)
ADV diaphragm (proprietary)
ADV tilt valve
Solenoid

good to see the list on here Nick but what was it that went kerplunk on your Far East trip and have you included it here?

Yes mate, major problem was the tilt valve in the ADV going tits-up. Fortunately, Simon Mitchell had a spare.
