    How it's done. Great Hammerheads.

Some of you may have seen my Great hammerhead pictures in Diver Mag. The next big thing - Divernet
This picture of me at work (by Bob Semple) goes a long way to explaining how we got the shots!
It's nice to be nice and it's nice to use punctuation to add comprehension to a communication.

Looks like you are all trying to avoid a very large unruly puppy.

What has the diver w/out a camera holding in his left hand?

Great hammerheads feed by searching in the sand but we attracted them in by chumming. Charlie (the blonde girl in the AquaLung ad ) is scraping a dead barracuda to make some attractive chum smell in the water that drifted away on the current.

My apologies to her / it's a bit difficult to tell from that picture.

Great photo! What's that on the shark's head (is it a Remora? Looks a bit man-made for that), and the yellow strap?

And what's that thing on its head that looks like a magnifying glass with a cross in it?

In order to stay where we were on the sand in a strong current with nothing to hold on to, we devised a system of rope and Danforth anchors with webbing attached. This shark decided to dig up an anchor! It's a real remora.

No. It was what my mouse pointer turns into when it's moved over a picture!

You can't tell but I am quietly chortling to myself.

ps: When I looked up at the picture I did, for a split second, think "WTF is that?"

Tsk, just look at that trim, and where's the wreck?

Great picture JB, now nicked and installed in my screensaver
