Hi guys
I am looking for a Lancaster mk3 number ME357 ditched off the coast of Skegness 19/04/1945. This has some family history and would be great to dive this I can find loads of info on what happened and only a rough area. Centrica have got plans and may have even started building there wind farm near or in the area so time could be running out.

I would suggest you contact the RAF clubs in the area and see if they may be interested in working with you as an exped.

Centrica would have done a seabed survey. Its a long shot, but given the family connection they might see positive PR in advising if there are any likely targets, and where they might be. Or they might decline...worth a phone call perhaps?
If Centrica did find an aircraft crash site and wanted to disturb it, a permit is required. If there is a risk of UXO, or is known to involve casualties, a permit would probably be refused - guidance notes here (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/28264/POMRACTBOOKLET_Jun11.pdf).
If a permit has been issued, Joint Casualty & Compassion Centre would be able to advise. Again, worth a phone call. Their contact details are in the link above.
