TV Tonight: Secret Lives of Rockpools

I caught this the other night and it was fascinating.

It appears to be repeated tonight.

Saw the original recorded last night it was very good, but due to day diving and wine kept dozing off. What I saw looked very good maybe try again tonight.

We watched this on Friday night then spent Saturday evening rockpooling in the very ones that were shown on the programme

There were lots of Beadlets on Saturday night, but they were all keeping their distance

I know! Whoever would've thought rockpools were so dangerous! Like Union Street on a Saturday night!

I hold limpets in a new light now, successfully fighting off a marauding starfish is impressive

And we had no idea blennies hid in the cracks in the rocks! We always assumed they drifted out with the tide, but when you remember they're territorial, it makes much more sense for them to stay put in their area rather than have to fight for it twice a day

I watched about 10 seconds, saw 2 fat men climbing over some rocks, and switched over.

                            It's worth a watch, honestly!
