And other sweaty bits.

Not unless, for some strange reason,
it has to go through a latex seal ;)

Hmm..

What's the talk for?

I can't think of any problem that might afflict down there that talc would be the solution to. Whatever the weather.

For everything else I use:

Well, you did ask... :)

There was some research last year that showed talc was responsible for ovarian or cervical cancer in a woman.

I read something just last week. Apparently only certain types (or sources) of talk present a risk but the statistics are such that very few health organisations are actively warning against using it.

Ah, here it is:

Only if I've shaved me plums.

For, erm, recreational purposes...

Is there any other purpose?

Wet talc is sharp. Wouldn't recommend it.

All I can say is that, on a really hot summer's day, being prepared with a well talced undercarriage and landing gear is luxury. No sweaty bits, you see. Pure serenity when sat in the office.

I will admit that I have overdone it in the past and scared myself a bit: I went for a pee and thought I'd got hold of a ghosts's willy.

When I was a porky lad, I used to talc downstairs on a hot summers day due to the excessive sweating used to make it a bit pongy.

Since losing weight though, this is no longer necessary or an issue.

I suffer from chaffing pretty badly, last week I looked like one of those bamboons with red arse, painful as hell. I tend to use non chaffing cream during the day then at night after a shower I take up a upside down beatle position and powder the delicate areas. (try farting after powdering, a lovely visual puff of white powder) :)

For me chaffing is worse when undercarriage is wet, I've had runs when I finished bleeding from so much chaffing on the undercarriage. Now if its best to put talco powder before the sweat or a lubricant (not wd-40) I don't know.

You really have come from a different reality, proof I suppose of parallel universes ;)

I have chamois butter for cycling that is an at chafe solution, as you describe. It's more about the inner thighs for me than anywhere else, but the whole lot gets a good coating before the shorts go on!

Sorry, but I really cannot continue to follow a thread about men coating their nether regions with buttery deer products. :puke

Then you walk out of the bathroom with this lovely white powdery mark around your fly. Just to make sure everyone knows where you've been.

If you used flour, combined with the moisture and wild yeast in the area you should have some tasty * novelty shaped bread rolls by the end of the day

* opinions might vary

Not going to happen to me. The time distance between talcing and dressing is sufficient to prevent such a faux pas. :)

If you are concerned about such things then you could do a few vigorous rounds of 'The Twist' to remove excess talc.

In anticipation:-

Bloody yoof of today. Waddayamean you don't know what I'm talking about?

Missed this last week out of contact. Never use talc under any circumstances, especially not near dive gear. One second hand dry suit I owned tried to kill me with a jammed inflate. When I took it apart it was caked with talc presumable fro previous owner liberally using it on seals.

No Not these silly.

That is the only time I ever use it, when latex is used.
